Streamlight 69260 TLR-1 HL High Lumen Rail-Mounted Tactical Light Review

The Streamlight TLR-1 HL Tactical Gun Mount Weapon Light gives you all the durability and rock-steady performance you expect from the TLR series, but upgraded to provide a 630 lumen light output. This high-powered weapon light gives you enough illumination to carry out any search or clearance task, even in total darkness. The beam pattern of the Streamlight TLR1 HL Gun Light is made for floodlight-style illumination, letting you cover a large area to assess the scene or identify a suspect quickly. Long-lasting C4 LED technology gives this compact, powerful pistol light an overpowering level of output and makes it fully impervious to shock.

The Streamlight TLR1 HL Light includes an integral rail grip clamp that requires no tools or gunsmithing and mounts quickly and easily, without you having to pass your hand in front of the muzzle. And once mounted, this rock solid mount stays exactly where you put it. This lightweight, compact, high lumen lithium battery powered Gun-Mounted Tactical Light provides up to 1.25 hours of continuous run time. The Streamlight TLR1-HL has a tethered battery door and latch mechanism that prevents battery door loss, while providing easy battery replacement. When enabled, the strobe function is activated by two or more momentary paddle hits.

The Streamlight TLR-1 HL Tactical Gun Mount Weapon Light is the innovated and improved version of the original TLR-1 weapon light series offered by Streamlight.  This model features a higher lumen output and a quick-detach rail mount.  One important aspect to consider in the TLR-1 is the price.  The Streamlight TLR-1 is one of the more affordable weapon light options available today and are becoming a permanent fixture in the tactical illumination market.   The TLR-1 is one of the smallest and most compact weapon lights on the market making it ideal for concealed carry, which is crucial to certain Military and Law Enforcement divisions that require tactical illumination for their firearms.   Also, Streamlight is an American company and their Service/Repair department, located in eastern PA, provides excellent support if any issues should arise with any of their many illumination products.

About Streamlight

Streamlight is a “hands-on” company; we’ve been one since the company started in 1973, 40 years ago. We learn by doing, so we understand what our customers need because we’re out there doing what they do, using the same lighting tools in the same ways.

We go through firefighters’ training. We take courses in low-light shooting. We’re hunters, fishermen, outdoor and sports enthusiasts. We believe it’s our hands-on, real-world experience that leads to new ideas and innovations that set Streamlight apart. Who knows what we’ll come up with next?
